Hi everyone, I love my PPP and she’s putting out new leaves quite frequently. However, they’re getting smaller and smaller and less variegated. Can anyone help? She’s not growing roots out of the drainage holes and she’s in a west facing window with sunlight at the end of the day (gradually more each day as we come in to spring). I love her and want her to do well so any guidance will be appreciated. Thank you x
It might be losing the pink color from lack of sun. Do you have a spot by a south facing window? Or maybe add a grow light? I’ve heard that to keep the pink going, you need to cut back to the last leaf with pink. I don’t remember if I did this myself, but that’s what I’ve heard.

not sure if its just the photo angle but the pot looks really small for the size of the plant so im wondering what the root system looks like,,it could be that theres not adequate rooting or the soil isnt aerated enough. if these things arent a problem then it might just not be getting enough light. sometimes plants revert but you can try adding a grow light to see if that helps??
0 gillningar I may have to investigate what’s going on in the pot. I assumed as no roots poking out the bottom that it’s ok but I think I need to look into this. It couldn’t be any closer to the window if I tried lol and there’s not another spot I can move it to really. If the repot doesn’t work I may invest in a grow light x
1 gilla yes definitely check the roots and keep me updated! you might need to grow it in water for a bit i can help guide you through next steps

It looks like she has outgrown the trellis. Mine needs constant support to continue sizing up
1 gilla The trellis is giving her really good support at the moment and is only a recent addition, may upsize in the near future though.
