    You don’t have to toss the plant, give it a good spray in your shower and that takes off the adult mites. After that you spray with a neem oil based spray and wipe it off to kill the eggs. Isolate this plant in another room. You might want to check any other plants that were near this one as spider mites spread very quickly and they could already be on your other plants.

    I’m treating a much worse infestation with neem oil and the more sensative plants they’ve spread to I’ve just hosed off. So far, so good! Don’t toss her!

    Also, some in the Planta community recommended a mix of rubbing alcohol, water and a couple of drops of Dawn dish soap, spray all over plant after wiping webs away from stem and any eggs on leaves you may or may not see. Good luck!
