Any tips? I have a Birkin and a Pink Princess but I’ve never been good at caring for philos. I want to do better, so what are your best tips and tricks for good growth and long term care?? Thanks!

Bright light, something to climb up and a humid environment like a kitchen or misting

I have converted my Birkin and Florida bronze to water and they’re doing so well!

For whatever reason I kill them in soil…

Just water!? Or a semi-hydro? My Pink Princess is in potting soil in a terracotta pot right now. Just bought it from Lowe’s and repotted it a few days ago. My Birkin I’ve had for a while and is growing small and slowly despite me knowing nothing about its care. Potting soil and a plastic pot for that one

Yep! I love it, no messes šŸ˜‚ you do have to amend the water but I find it so much easier

These are my Black Cherry Princess and Orange Princess Galaxy. I'm not sure how many species i have in all lol. But general rule is chunky soil, I mist every other day with a continuous spray bottles of distilled water (or some are near a humidifier). If you want big leaf growth, a moss pole (not a coir fiber pole) will help them out.

I have a mix of water and neem oil in a mister bottle. Is this fine to use? Should I mist with water only?

Mist with water only. Continually applying neem can burn the plant. Especially if it's under a grow light or in mostly sunny area

Hi! What's the difference between a Black Cherry and a regular Pink Princess?
