My poor baby ring of fire started out good and went downhill and I tried everything. Here’s the before and after in one month.

I’ve had the same issue, check the rootball, as it may be suffering from rot making the pot too big for it now, and clean it as best you can then snip off any mushy roots and either put it in water for the roots to grow back or back into soil with a pot 1-2 inches bigger than the new root ball size
1 gillaDoes that pot have drainage holes? Looks like it’s a bit too big for the plant and soil looks very wet. Would second the advice of the previous response.

The biggest mistakes I made with my starter babies was putting them in too big of pot (way too big).. soil that didn’t provide proper drainage, and planting directly into the pot or planter instead of a plastic nursery pot. After many deaths (may they rest in peace).. I’ve picked up knowledge from this group

making sure to give a chunky, well draining soil also helps a ton! mixing in perlite, orchid bark, coco coir chips, vermeculite or a combo of all can help improve the density of a regulat store bought indoor soil :) good luck!!
