Adding to the string of Birkin posts here. I got this one about a month or so ago and the soil was SOAKED when I brought it home. I quickly replanted into fresh soil. It wasn’t getting any better and Dr. Planta said it needed more light. I moved it to a grow light about 2 weeks ago and nothing is helping. Can I salvage this plant or is it a goner?

I mean, I see new growth so I wouldn’t give up!

Roots may have started rotting when in the sodden soil, and if rot wasn’t removed when repotting it would continue to spread. I’d suggest checking the roots and go from there!

I made the decision yesterday that to trash it. It was looking worse and worse. It wasn’t worth it anymore for me. I moved this Chinese evergreen into its spot and I’m so much happier with this space now!
