Hi! I’m a little concerned for my Philodendron Birkin/ White veins, they have yellow leaves at the base. Just wondering if it’s from overwatering, too much light, etc. I really don’t want to lose this plant, I really do love it. The leaves at the top are healthy, but it’s just the bottom ones (I think they’re new little leaves) Should I also cut them off? I’m getting fertiliser too just in case it’s nutrient deficiency. The leaves seem stiff / soft instead of crunchy if that info means anything Thanks! (I have a grow light and use boiled water or sit my water out for 24hrs.)

    They just look like the oldest leaves, if all the bigger leaves look healthy and fine and it’s just those two small ones then it’s fine, for watering use a wooden cocktail stick and when there’s water on the the stick don’t water until it’s dry, also no need to use boiling water you could damage the roots, use warm water and if possible rain water 🫶

      I think there’s 4 of them , and I let my boiled water cool to room temperature before I water (I burned the roots on my previous plants lmao) but thank you I hope it’s just old leaves. Should I cut them off or just leave em?

      Are they still connected to the plant? If so those are defo just old leaves from when it was younger and yeah if leaves are yellow they are already dead so you can cut them off. Just make sure to sterilise the cutting tool.
