Should I cut the top of my pink princess so it fills out and stops growing up? Itās about 5ft tall currently

Give it more light closer to a window or with a grow light/bulb. It may be leggy trying to find light.

1 gillaYou should still cut it. I would cut it in half, propagating each leaf node. You can easily get 6+ single node cuttings from it. I would propagate each one, then, put them back into the pot to get a fuller lush plant starting at the base. This will block the views of the soil, the base of the pole and support structure. The electrical outlet behind it will allow you to keep the plant in the current position by adding a cute floor lamp with a grow light bulb or putting a telescopic grow light in the pot. Adding a small humidifier will mimic the natural environment. Finish with fertilizer and you should have a much happier plant. ššŖ“

Mine looked just like that (though not as tall) and I just propagated it. Iām crossing my fingers waiting for her roots to appear then Iāll repot in the same pot to fill it out. Iām also going to remove my support stick to see if sheāll grow bigger leavesā¦š¤·š»āāļø we shall see!
