Hey everyone, I’m new to plants and am desperately looking for advice to save my pink princess. The soil has been wet for a while and I’m afraid I’ve overwatered her and now there’s root rot. I also have what I believe to be are fungal gnats and tiny white bugs crawling in the soil. I sprayed neem oil over the soil last night, but i don’t think it’s done anything. I’m worried I reported too soon and the pot is just too big which allowed for excess water to be retained. Any advice is greatly appreciated. I don’t want to kill her 😭

If you take the plant and soil out and wrap her in a towel overnight that should absorb some moisture! After that you could try bottom watering if you’re prone to overwater like me! I just set them in a bowl or tray of water for an hour or so and let them take what they need. For the pests I use captain jacks dead bug! It’s not natural but it works great for me - took out a massive thrips problem!! I hope it helps and you get some pretty pink leaves!!

use diluted hydrogen peroxide to simultaneously kill the fungus gnats and treat the root rot. Use a 1:4 solution

Spray while still in the pot, or remove from the pot?
