So what do you guys mark as your soil type when using a typical aroid mix? Iām using 1/3 potting soil, 1/3 orchid bark, 1/3 perlite. Just trying to get Plantaās watering schedule as accurate as possible and I cant decide which of their soil options to pick.
I would proceed with caution when following Plantas watering schedule to a T. Make sure youāre checking to make sure the plant actually needs water. Iām pressing that āsnoozeā button like my life depends on it. Haha

I think thereās a wait two days or wait until next time options. Iāve had times where I donāt need to water at all and others although not as often when Iāve have to water sooner. Pretty much all mine are in the same pot mix as yours (tropical mix) due to me finding that I had more complications with just normal soil. I think the app is more so you donāt forget

I would mark that as potting soil plus extra drainage.

Iād call that tropical. Planta has a video where they walk through one version of tropical mix and its potting soil, orchid bark, perlite, and coir, which is gonna be the closest option to yours.
0 gillningar I debated suggesting that however tropical has those elements that hold water as well. Sphagnum and coir.

I use tropical for that custom mix. Planta has been pretty spot on for my watering schedule. Iāve only had to snooze a couple of times
