This is one of my first philodendrons, so I’m not sure if she’s looking healthy or needs some help. I feel like she is starting to look a little droopy. Planta is telling me it’s time to water her, but the soil still feels a bit damp from my last watering. If you look at the photos you can see there is some new healthy looking growth, so I’m really confused right now of what is happening to her. Any ideas or advice??

Is it getting bright indirect sun 8ish hrs a day? If not that could be why it’s droopy… also they LOVE humidity put a humidifier near it & only water when too 1-2” is fully dry

I’m thinking it needs more light, too

More light will bring out brighter yellow variegations in addition to getting rid of the droopiness.

I’m not an expert but I will tell you mine is very sensitive to water. I make sure the dirt is dry before watering. I have mine outside on my north facing front covered porch (is super humid here) and he’s thriving, even after spider mites. The pic with the stripes faces the front, without faces my house. You can really see the difference in sun exposure. I think I’ll give him a spin. 😉

Thank you all!! I will move it to the same spot I have one of my other philodendron plants. That one seems to be doing really well. Hopefully that will help.
