New Philodendron mum here (well heās a few months in my care, mid Octoberā23) and I think my āPheelā is perfectly happy. The question is do I help the new leaves to break free or do I let them escape on their own?

Sometimes they need help cause they kink and damage the leaf. Try misting them first, but if you wanna help them you mist it then with a damp q-tip gently pop the stuck leaf out. Iāve broken some trying to help but i canāt help it š
2 gillningarI recently helped free a new leaf and now it looks a little discolored and deformed, a few days later. Not sure if itāll recover.
