I’ve had a cutting of my satin pothos sitting in water for a while but it’s not rooting; I’m very surprised. What can I do?

My first foray into leca was a fail. I lost three props I had in water when I transferred them to leca. Does anyone have any experience with propping Pothos in leca? Did I use too much water? All the props had more than 3 inches of roots.

Golden or Marble Queen?

Saw this edamame looking sprout on the bottom of my golden pothos, is it a part of the plant? 😳

saw this hack once & even though it’s so simple, it was life changing for me. why not root a cutting/plant while it’s still attached to the mother plant? just submerge the aerial root “bump” of the newest growth in water & voila, roots! did this to my njoy pothos recently & soon i’ll place the roots into the plant’s soil to help fill up the pot!

I am working on propagating two different pothos. It’s going pretty good. A couple have roots started or showing signs they will likely start soon. My question is, what kinds are they? I think one is a Manjula and the other I believe is a Harlequin. Thoughts? The 3rd and 4th are different leaves from the same plant.

Posted last week about one of my vines dying, I propagated some leaves off of it to see if anything would happen. They’ve been in water for a week almost now and I’m starting to see some roots sprouting!!! So excited 😆

Too soon? Curious if these babies are ready for some soil or if they need more time in water. Also - any potting tips would be appreciated- first time ever propagating. Thanks friends 🙏

hii!! new plant mom here:) just got this golden pothos today and it's doing okay but i noticed some damaged browning leaves, planta says that it's probably due to dry air so i watered and misted but i was also wondering if i should cut off those browning leaves? thanks!!!!

Hi everyone! My Golden Pothos had been doing amazing since I’ve gotten it a couple months ago however recently it’s seemed to get droopy and a couple of leaves turned yellow. I used the feature on this app and saw that it could be a drainage issue so I’m on a treatment plan. I am going to change the potting mix but I’m not sure wether or not the type of pot is also an issue. I believe it’s ceramic but I know there’s a ton of different pots, should I change the pot as well please help!

I just got my first Pothos today. Super excited! 😁🥳 Based on some Googling, I’m thinking N’Joy and Marble Queen? Or is one a Pearls & Jade? Google shows one thing, but when I pull them up on Planta, the pictures look different. So I’m not sure. 🤔
