I was gifted a golden pothos. Trying to keep him alive. Besides watering, sun light, and good conversations, what else can I give him?
Just scored this beauty for free at the grocery store because she's not looking too hot. Not labeled but Google and Planta say Neon Pothos...are those aerial root thingys normal?! I only have golden pothos and never seen this on them. Thanks!!
She was thriving for many months , since winter been a bit of an issue. Any ideas? Possible humidity/ heat in my apartment.
Hi there! This gangly fellow was bequeathed to me by my MIL, and so I have a moral imperative to keep him alive or suffer her hauntings for the rest of my days. Almost 2 years now and so far, no nightly apparitions! However, he is getting quite spindly. Is it possible to reshape these 16 years into their lives or am I doomed from ever changing her legacy?
hello! some of my my satin pothos leaves are starting to curl up and the vines haven’t produced leaves in a while. can anyone help/have any advice? thank you!!
Pretty snow queen!
First time poster here! I live in a cold place and I have my plant going up the window attached with loose Velcro straps (yes, I know about vine clips, just haven’t gotten that far). I just needed to know if it’s ok for the vines to be close to the window like that while it’s cold, they are to long to move all the time and I don’t have another place to put it. What’s your advice? ☀️
First time plant owner here. Can I save him? Got him from a friend and he’s not doing so hot. Any advice besides doing what the app tells me?
New baby marble. 🥰
Just wanted to share this pretty leaf growing on my pothos!
My Neon Pothos just arrived and it has these brown/drying spots. How can I prevent it from getting worse?
Question…. Ive had my golden pothos outside for about 2 years and it has NEVER given out a pup that looks like this. All its leaves are extremely variegated and have a darker green than my pothos normally has. Both stems on its leaves have half variegation as well.Does it have a possible mutation? Do you think it will continue growing like this?
Hello! i saw this beauty while i was at lowe's and i'm somewhat new to pothos so i'm having trouble figuring out what it is. they had it labeled as a golden pothos but i'm pretty sure that's not right lol.
Whew! I found a gorgeous pothos at the grocery store for less than $18. She was growing wild and free. I made 2 moss poles and repotted her. I had to manipulate the branches quite a bit so im betting she, and the monstera that joined her are going to be unhappy for a while. They came from a 6” (monstera - Annabelle) and an 8” (pothos- Esmerelda) and they now share a 12 inch. It has good drainage. They sit about half way down in n the pot. Repotted with miracle grow indoor potting soil. Everything is well watered and I rinsed the leaves using a spray bottle. I’m aware that they will need plenty of time to dry out before they need to be watered at all. My biggest question is whether I need to trim out any of the leaves growing in the middle of the branches that are obscured by the other leaves and vines. My second question is how often should I rotate the pot?
When’s the best time to prune your pathos? Anytime? Or is there a specific time of the year that’s best!?
My pothos is looking full and beautiful, however, one-by-one the leaves are turning yellow. Also, my house gets chilly every now and then…could that be the cause? What to do?
I just got this plant 2 weeks ago. Why is this getting brown spots.
I found out I transferred my propagated pothos from water to soil incorrectly as it wasn’t doing so well in the few weeks after. After doing research I tried putting this bag over it to keep it humid so it could get water through the tiny air root numbs and focus on getting better soil roots. (I’ve got some openings so it’s not entirely closed into the bag without air) It seems to be doing much better! The leaves were previously all curling in, but now they seem to be flourishing again! How do I know when it’s safe to take the bag off?
I think my Pothos needs to be repotted, but what are these brown nubs?
