My golden pothos is almost five feet long now, but there’s only two vines. Is this normal, and is there a way to make it grow more vines so it looks fuller? :)

I just propagated my pothos from cuttings but the curled up one in the front just sort of popped up on its own one day! I thought that was pretty cool. I understand why they’re considered invasive species in many states!

I’m thinking of propagating my pothos since it’s grown so long that it’s touching my floor and the leaves are getting smaller and smaller. Any tips on how to do it without harming the original plant and keeping the babies alive? :)

I love pothos plants of all types. I purchased a large manjula this summer. She was long and running all over the place. I propped in water. Some thrived, some died. I’m putting the last several props I have on water right now. I am thinking back to when I was a teenager 30 years ago when I couldn’t keep a cactus alive. I only started in earnest again last year. My sister pulled me into plant life. Most of my early plants are dead, but I’ve done well more recently. See momma and her babies below, along with some cuttings I am about to pot.

I don’t know if this Frankenplant will work, but I had acquired three little pothos plants and I just repotted them together. I think they look really pretty together. If they end up looking unhappy I’ll split them up. Anyone ever combine any pothos plants together?

So excited to report that my Hawaiian pothos is doing so much better and has reached a length of 5ft! I also measured her width and she’s about 3ft wide. InSANE considering she was a wilty sad plant in the beginning of 2024.

Hi, everyone 🤗 Need y'all's thoughts/advice on my babies. I have quite a few pothos plants that are currently in plant hospital in my upstairs living room 🥺 Some we're looking quite droopy and losing leaves, which I boiled down to inconsistent watering (it's been a busy couple months). Anyway, I placed them upstairs last night because it's the least cold room and gets the best light during our winters here in central coast CA. This morning they look happier and the leaves don't look wilty anymore (yay!). But one of the plants (see pictures) has lots of bare vine space with no leaves. Should I be worried about this? And any winter care tips y'all can share? I really don't want to kill my babies! My house is pretty drafty and this living room I think is the best place for them right now. Any ideas are welcome! 🩷

Helppppp. My Pothos hasn’t grown an inch since I got her in August/September. I’ve been checking the soil and watering accordingly, have periodically fertilized her (less now that it’s winter), and have a humidifier going. What’s going on? Any tips for how to revive her or help her grow?

im new to plants. ive had these pothos since the summer and i just noticed theres some tears in some of the leaves almost like something bit it. is this normal? should i be concerned? from a distance they look like theyre thriving but now im scared

Alright folks. I’m over this plant. Since the weather has turned cold it’s been drooping and producing many yellow leaves at once. I let it completely dry out then watered it thoroughly a few days ago. Planta diagnosis is frustrating since it offers too many possible diagnosis’ at once. It doesn’t not have pests and has not been overwatered. It is under a grow light 12+ hours a day. It perked up after the watering but then started having yellow leaves. What’s everyone’s opinion as to what it needs?

I’ve had my pothos plant for over two years. And it’s consistently done very well. I’ve noticed it gets this strange greenish “web” in the soil after it is watered. It hasn’t always done this. Doesn’t seem to harm the plant at all because the plant is otherwise very healthy. Any idea what this green web is?

I bought a beautiful pothos at Home Depot, part neon and part dark green. Left it for about 5 days and when I returned, all the dark leaves were dead dead dead. The neons were just saggy. Heartbroken, I trimmed the dead leaves off and copped the vines too. The neons bounced back, but I’m not sure how to best care for this guy now. There are naked vines wrapped up in the soil, should I excavate them? Some of them are sprouting new neon growth down at the ends of the vine, should I chop and propagate? Help!
