I have this beautiful healthy pothos that was an off shoot from my mother pothos. This one has been going for a few years but has this one vine that has produced like crazy from it. But I’m worried its spawn will get too heavy for the lone vine that is connecting it to the main plant and soil. Should I cut the vine and plant what’s hanging from it, and start a new plant? Or should I just continually cut all the excess growth off it so it doesn’t get too heavy for it? I’m a beginner. Thanks :)

Can anyone help me figure out if I can improve my pothos’ health? I planted this from propagations nearly a year ago, and it’s always been more yellow than my other pothos plants, including the one it was propagated from. I water about every 1.5 weeks currently (due to colder weather), and it gets quite a bit of light daily. The leaves don’t feel soggy or crispy, but are consistently yellow and seem to be worsening. Does anyone know what the cause might be? Thanks! :)

My first moss pole! 😍😍😍 turned out a bit janky bc the stick for the poleis too long for the pot, so had to use some rope/trellis to support it while I get some rocks/other pot to support it better but I’m super excited to see how this majula cutting does on the pole!!! 🤩🤩🤩 She’s already got 4 root nodes in the moss so 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 she takes hold!

New Pothos owner here 😊 My neighbor propagated a Golden Pothos and gifted the well grown cuttings that are still in water. I wan to plant it in a pot, but I’m not sure what soil mix I should use, how big the pot needs to be, and asking for any other helpful tips. Please help this gal, I don’t want to kill this pretty plant

So I got this snow pothos and she was fine but a couple weeks of having her she just keeps dying on me. She turns yellow I’ve checked her for root rot I repotted her with fresh chunky mix soil still she’s just been holding on, but she’s not growing more roots. She’s not growing new leaves she’s just like stuck and her stem looks like kind of wrinkly. I don’t know what’s going on with her. Any suggestions or advice will be appreciated please help thank you in advance.

This was my first Pothos (Satin Pothos). I love how big the leaves are getting 😍 I read that Pothos like room to grow, but I don’t think it’s ready for another pot yet. Still plenty of root room.

Hello all, I have a beautiful satin potos that’s outgrowing its nursery pot! The roots are all very healthy, but it’s definitely time for an upgrade. My question is: since the plant grows so quickly, is it damaging to plant it in a pot multiple sizes up from its current nursery pot? It’s in a 2inch pot at the minute and I’m thinking of potting it in a 6inch pot. Is this too drastic a change? She’s too beautiful for me to kill! Thanks in advance :)

Help please! What species of pothos is this lil’ baby here?

Hi! I’m new to this app and group and hoping to find some expert advice to keep my plants alive! In sick bay is my pothos, he’s very stemmy and lacks leaves. I just moved him to get more sun, but should I trim him now? Three of his current stems are almost bare till the end, and one stem is more full of leaves. Was thinking to cut the three bad ones and leave the one that has leaves? Or just leave them all intact for now until he gets more sunlight time. Thanks for any advice!
