I rescued this absolute beauty that was sitting in literally 2 inches of standing water in its cache pot at Home Depot. I’m pretty new to Hoyas (I have a compacta that’s doing pretty well in spite of me.) The sticker said carnosa, but the leaves look way too long. I’m thinking it looks more like the pubicalyx. Can anyone weigh in?

My mom has these two plants but I have been having a hard time identifying them. Maybe they are a type of gasteraloe? Any help is appreciated!!

Apparently the new iPadOS offers plant identification in the Photos app. I don’t know if it’s on phones cause mine is a vintage iPhone 7 lol, but I just noticed it on my iPad

Hey, I got this plant from my mom and wasn't sure what it was, at first I thought it was Alocasia zebrina, but now I'm thinking it could be a type of Anthurium.

What would you guys call this? Planta is calling it a marble queen Pothos, but the store called it a philodendron. Thinking it’s a Heart leaf philodendron?

Sorry, this is so wordy. Did Planta mis- identify my plant? 💚👀🤔🌱

This is what is called an air plant and the instructions it came with tell me to water it once or twice a week (so I water it every four days) upside down in a glass of water with the roots out of the water. The idea is you don’t want to get the roots wet. I have had it for several years. Planta IDs it as a “chlorophytum comosum ‘varieg…’” and the picture they show is a green and white striped spider plant in a hanging basket. The instructions they keep giving me is to mist which I have not done because if water drips down to the root section, it can rot the root, that is why it gets watered upside down in a glass of water and then dries upside down so that any water drips away from the root. Also, Planta tells me to fertilize it, again, which leaves me totally up in the air because I can’t get the root wet. Should I put fertilizer in the water and put the plant in upside down? Somebody must be familiar with how to raise these little guys. They are sure cute and I have bonded with this little one and I’m afraid I might kill it. HELP! B

Plant identification says this is a polkadot plant. It seems correct. Is mine just really leggy? That’s a word I just learned.

I inherited this from my mother and I’m not sure what it is. Plan identification doesn’t seem to be correct.

Look what I noticed in pictures on my iPhone! Click to zoom in and out to see whole photo. Definitely not perfect but very cool and I’m sure the technology will get better!

I need some help. I’ve tried looking it up but nothing seems quite right. I inherited this spunky guy from my aunt, who was a heavy smoker and didn’t care for them really well toward the end. The “limbs” on this are all crazy and curly and the leaves are long and flexible, not hard or spikey. They are mostly green with small strips of a reddish color around the outside of the leaves.
