Hi all! New to the app and trying to make sure my IDs are on point. All the plant finder apps keep saying this is a standard aloe, but that doesn’t seem right to me. The leaves are too slender and loosely arranged. Each leaf has a small number of spikes at the tip, but not along most of the body. I even tried the distributor website (it’s the Lo Lite brand), and they don’t have it on their list of offerings. Any ideas? TIA!!!

Hello lovelies I’m looking for help identifying this plant. I believe it’s a Hoya and Planta initially identified it as Common Waxflower ‘Lisa’, however the coloring isn’t the same - it’s fully green. So I’m just curious if it could be a mistaken identification or if there are any ideas given the fully green? (label was from previous identification… I’ll update if it is corrected - ty!!)

Hi friends, I’m sure some of you saw that I posted this plant yesterday in hopes to identify it. I’ve been doing more research & came across this on reddit… it looks more similar than anything else I’ve seen. Does anyone know anything about crassula sarmentosa variants? I’m not finding a ton of info on them here/online. Also this plant took a hit from late winterizing/had some mildew issues from what I think was overwatering so I decided to do some pruning & repotted & this is what I have left of her atm. 😅

This is some kind of air plant which Planta mistakenly called a spider plant. I water it every 3 to 4 days upside down keeping the roots dry and let it drain upside down so the roots don’t get any moisture. For that reason I have not misted it. I also haven’t fertilized it in two years and I know every plant needs to eat. Can someone tell me what kind of air plant this is and how do I fertilize it if I do it all? Thanks🧐

Hello Planta friends, can you help identify this beautiful plant I just got? Planta doesn’t seem to be able to. It comes out as a Golden Photos which it clearly isn’t. Thanks for your help!

Any ideas? I’ve inherited some plants from my aunt. Both of the larger leaves have pieces missing so I’m just not too sure. It seems like it’s doing better since there’s a little new growth on it but I’m worried about the yellow around the bottom.

I rescued this absolute beauty that was sitting in literally 2 inches of standing water in its cache pot at Home Depot. I’m pretty new to Hoyas (I have a compacta that’s doing pretty well in spite of me.) The sticker said carnosa, but the leaves look way too long. I’m thinking it looks more like the pubicalyx. Can anyone weigh in?

Apparently the new iPadOS offers plant identification in the Photos app. I don’t know if it’s on phones cause mine is a vintage iPhone 7 lol, but I just noticed it on my iPad

Hey, I got this plant from my mom and wasn't sure what it was, at first I thought it was Alocasia zebrina, but now I'm thinking it could be a type of Anthurium.
