My pubicalyx, sheâs a stunner! I think so anyways. âșïž I will lose my mind when it blooms for the first time. Some of the leaves are LARGE âI just love love this plant. I should probably repot, but Iâm so nervous to do so. Itâs been in the same pot since June 2022 when I got it. Iâm amazed at how much itâs grown since (baby pic included). If anyone has words of wisdom on repotting a large Hoya or of the opinion I should not, Iâd love to know your thoughts. âïžđ

rescued this little thing from too large of a pot last week. she doesnât look better but thankfully doesnât look any worse either. fingers crossed sheâs rerooting and will grow more for me in springâŠ

Hoya pubicalyx blooms opened today. I made this trellis cactus shaped long ago and now the plant has nicely filled it out. Love the color of the flowers. They smell of musty roses.

This frog on my porch moved from Hoya EPC209, where he lived for well over 2 months, to Hoya hellwigiana. Distance is about 35 feet away from his original home. Hmmm, better food source maybe? Heâs pretty cool though đ

I bought these Hoya Brevialata near the end of last summer. They have grown even though I reduced the amount of water they are getting during the colder months. I feared root rot. I have recently increased the water they are getting since it is warming up in my area. They quickly put out new leaves. Their small spoon shaped leaves are adorable and very stiff. They branch out at an early stage and grow well for a hoya. Iâm hoping they bloom once in my lifetime! Thatâs my goal for all my hoyas!đ

my hoya wayetii caught root rot đ„Č anyone have any tips for treating rotten hoya? iâve removed all of the mushy roots as far as possible and plan to soak them in a mild hydrogen peroxide solution. the nursery potted a bunch of cuttings in too big of a pot, which i only just realized unfortunately. weâre going down two sizes (from 6â to 4â) since a big portion of the roots are gone now. my biggest question is: is there any hope for the cuttings where rot has spread to the node? theyâre still firm, but some have barely any root left.
