Hello fellow hoya lovers~ Out of curiosity, please post your Hoya Carnosa outter varigated (Krimson queen) and what light and how much light they get. (Natural/ which compass direction they face for the sun / or grow lights)
Here is mine! Moved her for the photo, but she originally sits at a SW facing window~ I recently pulled her a few feet back.

Hi all, I’m relatively new to hoyas and just got lucky enough to find this huge Hoya carnosa Krimson Queen with a vine that’s at least 9 feet long! It’s got tons of peduncles and I’m keeping it outside until it’s too cold in 3-4 weeks. Ideally would like to repot in my hoya mix (orchid bark/pumice/coco coir) since it came in dense potting mix, but don’t want to disturb such a mature plant that could bloom. I probably won’t be watering it much at all because it rains at least once a week here.
Just felt like showing off this beauty, any advice would be appreciated!

I had to share these gorgeous gals I just received. “Jeurney”, “Valdar”, and “Teresa”. I’m really loving “Jeurney” and her huge splashy leaves 😍

We have a large older 8+ years Hoya it started out as a cutting from a friend’s Hoya and was propagated in a small glass of was in a southwestern window of my kitchen. Since then she has produced about seven more full sized 4-6’ strands of new plants which we give to interested friends. Our original plant just produced more flowers than I had ever seen at one time with 23 overly fragrant flowers! As you may be able to tell I am in the process of rooting two new cuttings. These are so much fun!

I need Hoya Help!
I got this Hoya compacta about 6 months ago and it got wrinkly 3 months later (second pic). In hindsight I think it was probably underwatered? It stayed wrinkly, then my toddler knocked it over twice about a month ago. Now it’s still wrinkly but the leaves have started to yellow and drop (not just base leaves).
Reddit said to water it and see if it plumps up in the next day or two, it didn’t. Then Reddit said either the roots had dried up and died or had rotted. So I checked the roots.
To my inexperienced eye, they look fine on both plants? The root balls seem proportional in size to the plants, I don’t feel any that are mushy. I mean, they are thin and pretty limp. I see very thin hairlike roots that I am assuming are what Reddit was referring to that might have dried and died. Maybe I just don’t know what healthy Hoya roots are supposed to look like?
So now I’m at a loss. TIA 🙏

Can someone please help me? My first Hoya (compacta.) I have it in an east facing window and it’s starting to develop these black spots :(
It did ship from Miami to Arkansas- so shipping stress is possible but when it arrived, the spots were not there.
