Happy saturday!! I'm wondering why the newest leaf on my hoya burtoniae came out yellow. It feels more taut than the others. It is under a grow light and some dappled midday sun. The grow light was stressing the leaf as red while it was growing, but then it turned this yellow shade... is that ok?

New growth on my Hoya! Super proud as Iâve only had her for 3 weeks now and heard some stay dormant for a couple months. Sheâs my absolute favorite đ«¶đ»
My Hoya Inflata put out flower buds and itâs unexpected. I got it in June. Itâs been outside since then. Itâs in the original 3 inch nursery pot. This is a wishlist plant that is typically priced to match its large yellow cracked eggshell shaped blooms. đŁđŒ
Forever and always, the rope will be my favorite Hoya đ cannot have enough of them
My husband bought me this sweetheart plant / Hoya Kerrii as a Valentines gimmick earlier this year. About 2 months ago it sprouted a stem, and now has 2 new leaves âșïž. Itâs still in its nursery pot so I am itching to replant it so it can expand, but also donât want to stress it out. Has anyone been through something similar and have any advice? Thanks in advance đđŒ
The fast growth of my two Hoya Krohniana Black plants is surprising. I bought the first one already sun stressed in April. I got the second in August and put them both outside to direct get morning sun. Fast growth. No blooms, as yet. Maybe next year. Both are in their original 4â pots. Both are from Plant Proper. I use standard Miracle Gro and SuperThrive about once a month. đżâ ïž
Can someone help identify why Iâm getting these black spots on this Hoya?
Can anyone help me ID this Hoya? The closest I can google find is obovata but mine are all green with no silver
This is one of the first hoya cuttings I bought last year, Hoya Verticillata (Parasitica) Heartleaf . The spots/splashes are turning a violet color. I put it outside this summer. It is not getting direct sunlight. Iâm wondering whatâs driving the color change of the markings.
Can anyone tell me why my Hoya has dark spots on the leaf on the left? The leaf on the right was just put out and looks perfectly fine but the left one has dark spots. Let me know if you canât tell from the picture đ hoyas are so over my head
Can anyone identify this Hoya? Iâm new to Hoyas, thanks!
I think Iâve found my new addiction, I told myself I wouldnât buy anymore but came across this Carnosa Nova Ghost on the marketplace and couldnât say no. The seller also gave me an extra which is lacunosa long leaves. Very happy :)
This little Hoya Nummularioides opened its buds. đ Itâs in a 2 inch wide plastic shot glass. The scent is sweet and not overwhelming. A mild rose scent with bergamot (bee balm), the scent of Krohniana and Lacunosa hoyas. It has 3 tiny spiders, one on each branch! I verified they are yellow spiders not spider mites. đ
This is a one year progress of my Hoya Imperialis plants. I bought two small plants last year during the end of season sales (Gabriella Plants). I repotted from 3â to 4â pots and moved them outside this summer. They get 4 hours of direct morning sunlight and afternoon bright shade. Thatâs all they needed to quickly grow and start branching! The blooms (red, white) will be very large and this drives the price. They are worth the sales price just for the growth.
Hoya Towutiensis (formerly Caudata silver).. Slow for me but so gorgeous. Iâm a sucker for mottled leaves.
Can someone educate me on macrophylla vs latifolia? Are they the same thing? The internet is confusing me! Found this at meijers today and the label says carnosa splash which is definitely incorrect lol.
My Multiflora is too busy showing off its new leaves instead of giving me the bloom! đđ
Finally getting some pink on my krimson queen đ show me your pink queens! đ
My Lacunosa plants did well this year. Some are all season bloomers! đ
What a lovely surprise this morning!
