My husband bought me this sweetheart plant / Hoya Kerrii as a Valentines gimmick earlier this year. About 2 months ago it sprouted a stem, and now has 2 new leaves ☺️. It’s still in its nursery pot so I am itching to replant it so it can expand, but also don’t want to stress it out. Has anyone been through something similar and have any advice? Thanks in advance 🙏🏼

Nice. It must have had a node. You’re lucky. Go buy a lottery ticket now lol. I’m guessing it won’t need a repot soon. Mine is huge and is still in a 4 inch pot. Just have to make sure the pot is heavy so it doesn’t tip over all the time

Hoyas including your H. kerrii should be slightly root bound. Otherwise it will not dry out properly between waterings and will get root rot

Definitely repot her. I bought myself one, knowing they rarely sprout new leaves because they dont leave enough node. But mine is over a year now. I repotted right after the first leaf, and then just recently did a repot a month ago to try her in pon instead of chunky mix
