Good things come to those who wait…. One of the Hoya Publicalyx has gifted me with something that i was definitely not expecting…. I googled to see what the flower looks like….and….OMG! 😳 wow, wow 🤩 Just hoping the peduncle would grow healthy, it would not be the first time the peduncles die away on Hoyas. As a matter of fact, my Hoya Mathilde and Serpens never get to fully develop 😞

Sorry to sound ignorant I am new to plants. Is this a Hoya Carnosa? That’s what the app identified it as but when I look at other pictures, it doesn’t seem like it.. will this one bloom?

The final fourth Hoya has also bloomed, Hoya Noona Pink….and with so many more peduncles yet to bloom! 💪🏼

I entered some plants into the Central Arizona Cactus and Succulent Society Annual Show & Sale. They had a Hoya category(technically not a succulent) and I figured I'd enter at least one. This is my first year entering plants. I was excited when I saw my Krohniana 'Super Silver' took 2nd place. And then I was overwhelmed when I saw the plant that took first and the plant I placed ahead of. The Compacta was first and the Pubicalyx took third. There were other very nice, and bigger, Hoya and I still place 😁.

I got this hoya as a gift and I was thinking about cutting this long part and starting some new plants. There are 5 nodes that don't have leaves and just don't know if I should just cut the one above the 2 leaves or if I should do more. What do you think. Thanks for the info and help
