hi everyone. been a while. i just got this krimson queen prop for free from a local nursery since it wasn’t looking too good. (feel free to correct my id if i’m wrong) i repotted it when we got home in a slightly looser mix (espoma all purpose potting soil) since it was in a soggy compost-heavy mix.
it’s been on our porch (on the northeast side) for a week or so and i’m seeing signs of new growth (see pictures below). however i am concerned about the leaves— the only two remaining green leaves are yellowing and dying off. i’ll wait to see what color the new growth is but i worry i may have to trim off most of the leaves to encourage her to grow more green… does anyone know if lighting is a factor here? any tips to ensure her survival are appreciated!

I’m hoping I can get some help identifying this plant? It said an exotic angel plant and clean air plant I thought it looked like a Hoya “Chelsea”. However the plant ID tool said it was a peperomia “hope”, but I have one of those and they don’t look alike. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

This is the first blooms on my Hoya Crassipetiolata after a year! It smells like a ripe mango!🥭
The other blooming hoyas are my Hoya Noona (David Cummingii x Heuschkeliana), which smells like cake batter 🍰, and Hoya Crassipetiolata, which has no scent that I can detect.

Hi I’m new here to Hoya Hoarders
I only have 1 Hoya and I love her !! Can someone please tell me the specific name of this type of Hoya and now that I have her in an East window will she bloom ? I’ve seen some bloom and I’m not sure if this type of Hoya will or maybe they all are able to…. I am hopeful. I’ve had her for a few years now and she’s happier than ever

This is a hoya I never knew I needed since it is not common or popular. I bought this Hoya David’s Green Cup as an afterthought because I was buying other hoyas online and it was relatively cheap, under $15, from the same seller. It quickly became a favorite growing four times the initial length in about a year. It’s a Hoya Carnosa and Hoya Obovata cross. It’s has teardrop leaves.
It’s an easy care plant and is still in its original 4” plastic nursery pot. It looks a bit dry in the photos and needs water.

I need help with identifying this Hoya. The app is telling me Hoya Carnosa but I want to be sure that’s correct. The leaves don’t see like a carnosa to me, but I might be over thinking. I might just have other hybrid Hoya carnosa and don’t even know what the normal one looks like. Lol.

My Hoya cv Ann has been trying to bloom for weeks…. But the buds kept dying. You can see the evidence.
However - It finally gave me some blooms!!!! They smell like lemons. 🍋

I’ll start: I’m fairly new to the Hoya circuit, but I bought mine from The Rhoads Garden in North Wales, PA for about $7, and Ott’s Exotic Plants in Schwenksville, PA tends to have a nice assortment of them, but if you’re looking for a fair selection of starter Hoyas for under $10, I’d check The Rhoads Garden out if you’re ever in the area.
Thought this would be a fun way for anyone new or very experienced with Hoyas to find new places to find their favorite type of plants 😊

This is Hoya Onychoides. It’s my hard to find wishlist hoya and very hard to find at a good price because the big red flowers are so unique. The flowers remind me of the claws in the game machines that pick up stuffed animals!😁🪴🌺🧸

I feel like my hoyas aren't growing. I've had these 2 for a few months, and nothing. I dont understand because I propagated one last december and it had like 6 leaves within a few months.
