Got a new seemingly mature Hoya today, but unsure what kind. The leaves are fuzzy, stems are woody and it has several peduncles. Any guesses?
I just got a Hoya kentiana variegated from my local nursery. I wanted to treat it for pests and get it all repotted. Upon getting it all cleaned up- it looks like they had put 4 of the plants together in one small 3 inch pot. Should I pot them all separately or 2 to a pot? I’m not really sure what to do.
My Hoya carnosa rooted.🥳 Also can anyone identify what cultivator it is, because the closest looking one on Planta is ‘Wilbur Graves’.
First peduncle on my Hoya Gracilis! I have had it a year.
This is my first Hoya Kerrii. I love the markings. She is a bit dry from shipping. A little clean up is all she needs. 💕🍀💕🍀💕
One of the Hoya Retusa plants has finally bloomed for the first time! Actually the first from them all! They suppose to have some sort of a light lemony scent….but these ones are pretty odourless. Nevertheless, still very happy with it! ❤️
It’s the pink leaves that do it for me 😍
4 months growth on my lisa. So fast.
I knew this bloom opened before I even entered my plant room. The scent is so strong of lemonade powder, like the kind to make a quick lemonade drink. This is Hoya Campanulata.
I got this Hoya Loyceandrewsiana almost 1 year ago and I’m very happy with her growth spurt. Her size has tripled! The vines are thick with huge leaves compared to the Hoya Elliptica and Hoya Bella plants next to her. She has outgrown her second trellis. She is in a 5 inch plastic nursery pot.
Hoya Callistophylla such a beautiful bunch of flowers.
Hi Hoya Friends! I bought this baby a year ago and it was growing the shorter leaves (named Hoya Lacunosa Moonlight) and it started sprouting these leaves that were 2x as long. Now I’m worried because there is some discoloration and the leaves are a little wrinkly. My garden room is anywhere from 60-70% humidity and I know wrinkly leaves can mean not enough water or too much water but I was hoping to get your insight before I make a mistake? Help! I don’t want to lose my baby!
I don’t buy too many large established Hoya as I prefer to start a plant myself from an unrooted cutting but my friend was moving and downsizing because of that and I could not pass up this beautiful Hoya AH556 seeds 002 she had. Just so incredibly lush.
Started a blog with a focus on growing Hoya. Check it out if you are interested. room4plants.wordpress.com
This is my newest Hoya. Any tip on what this one likes or don’t like ? 😅 Ty
so many blooms 🤍 smells so good in this room!!
My crimson Queen is very sick. Don’t know what is going on with her. I lost 3 other plants roughly the same time and I am not sure if it could be something in the water. I let my water sit for days before I use it and the water is very hard. Just wondering if the county put something in the water system. I did repot last week to have a look at the roots and they seem fine.
Any clue what this is? I’ve noticed my local nursery tends to put “assorted” when they don’t know what it is either. I’ve done my research and I can’t seem to figure it out!!
Wanting to chop and prop my hoya carnosa. The leaves are spread out on this shoot (moved it into a south facing window from an east facing one a few months ago so hopefully will solve that problem). Can I chop and prop now or should I wait until growing season? Can I prop the sections that don’t have mature leaves yet? How could I go about propping the ‘sticks’? 😂
