HELP These Hoya Bella’s have been rooted in my fish tank and they have really taken off!! They are from my grandmas original Hoya Bella, and I want to have them as my centrepiece at my wedding!! How do I move these to soil without them dieing? I also have leca ( which I haven’t had much success with yet) if that would work better before moving to soil?
Labeled only as Hoya Carnosa Tricolor - can anyone tell me more about the true name? Is it a Princess? Thanks!
My Hoya Kerrii is giving me three new leaves!
It’s so cute when Hoyas grow leaves to protect their inflorescence💕 There’s some cool Hoya anatomy here! In my photo you can clearly see Millie’s peduncle with an umbel full of flowers. (All you can see right now in the photo are the sepals of each flower) The pedicels are attached to the rachis. The rachis isn’t evident yet. A few days ago I posted Dr IBOK. You can clearly see the looooong rachis with a very nice bloom 😊 The rachis gets longer with each Hoya bloom. IG @herektty 💕
My krimson princess is blooming for the first time. The flowers are so pretty 🌱💕
This is my beautiful Hoya compacta that I got at the 2023 Philly flower show. When I first got it, it was one sad little branch. And it recently grew a whole new branch that I circled in red!!! And now I’m pretty sure it’s growing a bloom 🥹🥹 I also circled it in red lol I’m just so excited about it I had to share! 🪴🌱
I recently got a Hoya Villosa after owning a Hoya Globulosa for almost year. Their names are often interchanged online. The Villosa looks very different from the Globulosa. The Villosa has frilly edged spear shaped leaves. Both leaves and stems are fuzzy. The stems are green with upright growth. It dropped several new growth leaves due to shipping stress. The Globulosa has smooth shiny oblong leaves with no frilly edges. The globulosa is a steady slow grower. I can recommend both.
Hoya caudata ‘Sumatra’
I’m a novice plant connoisseur. I picked up this Hoya plant a few years ago. It has grown rapidly in length but it stopped creating more leaves. It has latched itself onto my light fixture so I don’t really want to move it. I sat it over a container of rocks and water for humidity. Not in the water. It bloomed this spring, which was a beautiful surprise. I didn’t know they flowered. My question is what do I need to do to encourage leaves to grow at the periphery?
Hey☺️ I’m a first time Hoya plant parent and I don’t know what to expect from this plant cause it was gifted and I don’t know which Hoya it is. Will more leaves grow and is misting okay for humidity? Any tips or info will be appreciated 🫶🏾

Hoya ‘Dr IBOK’ smells like a day at the spa 💕 Full story on my IG Search @herektty Drop a follow 😊
I bought a standard non variegated Hoya Heuschkeliana, yellow flowers. It was longer than expected. I thought they mistakenly sent s mother plant used for cuttings. It came with about 15 peduncles, 13 of them have fully opened cantaloupe colored flowers that smell like butterscotch when I’m near. Smells like buttered popcorn when close to the nose. The scent does not overpower. The buds are tiny. A cluster can fit on my thumbnail. I bought it on Etsy at Mazzeta. They respond quickly to messages.
My Hoya Australis growing like crazy!
Newest additions to the family! I get so excited to watch small plants become big plants 😁
Tell me what you love about Hoyas and why I should consider getting one. What are your favorites?
