Any idea what is causing these spots on my Hoya? Received it via mail on Friday. A few leaves had spots but I figured they were travel related so I snipped them off. But everyday new spots appear

I have the most beautiful Hindu Rope Hoya that I love so much. She’s only produced one rope… any suggestions on how to encourage more?

Added to the hoard lol Green pot- Hoya lacunosa x obscura 'Sunrise' (excited to see the sun stressing develop on this one) Brown pot- Hoya australis ssp. tenuipes 'Lisa' I was once a hardcore hoya hater but lately, I’ve grown to love them! (since I figured out how to stop killing them 😬)

My Hoya Burtoniae put out its first peduncle. I initially had it outside in a northwest location getting afternoon sun and shaded by the house from the hottest midday heat and intense light. In April, I moved it to the wall where the other hoyas were starting to bloom. It put out a lot of new growth for weeks with no signs of blooms until this week.

The pink Hoya Compacta flower is a beacon of beauty and joy, bringing light and positivity to even the darkest of spaces! This free plant I received was full of mealies and I’m glad I could revive it. It rewarded me with this beautiful bloom! 🌸🌸

The bloom of Hoya cutis porcelana. The name means porcelain skin. Can you see it? This Hoya is very easy to identify by its flowers. No other Hoya is quite like it. Easy care and easy bloomer!

My Hoya Patricia put out its first two peduncles! This is a hoya I bought in December 2023, a time of year when I avoid buying plants that need to be shipped in winter. But, the price was reduced and I like the flower colors of this hoya. It didn’t put out new growth until I hung it in full morning sun near the rest of my blooming hoyas. This is about the 10th hoya to bloom this year and is additional verification that direct morning light, high temperature/humidity and regular fertilizing triggers the hoyas to bloom in my zone 9 area.

Hoya Carnosa Albomarginata. That striking pink is lovely, no doubt….but those “ivory” white leaves though 🤍, I love them! As a “Hoyalcoholic” I got to say that this is one of my true favourites I own. The difference of shapes and colours of its own leaves are truly amazing to me! 💚🩷🤍💛

My poor Hoya that’s not allowed to climb the walls still finds a way.

Hello, a storm knocked my Hoya Kerrii over and I’m trying to save it. Does anyone know if it will ever grow new leaves from these nodes?

Picked up this beauty this weekend 🤩 I was told it’s a Carnosa but I’ve never seen one with such pink! Is it truly a Carnosa?

What fertilizers have y’all had good success with getting your Hoyas to bloom?

I’m trying to germinate the seeds from my Hoya Krohniana and Hoya Lacunosa plants. The Hoya Krohniana super splash seeds started to sprout!!! I’m not sure which hoya cross pollinated it. I never even had hoya sprouting seeds on a bucket list. I just wanted to see them bloom once. I recently found a seed pod on my Hoya Lacunosa Royal Flush which only put out a few peduncles, but, those 3 peduncles are prolific bloomers. One put out a seed pod. 😍 There is static electricity on the plastic pots which causes the dandelion-like seeds to suspend in air inside the pots. I let the moist soil hold them and covered the pots. 🌱🌱🌱

This silly Hoya just can not quit blooming on these mutated looking peduncles. I really should chop it to encourage some new leaf growth but I am enjoying this flower show for now. It’s a Hoya sp. Rangsan. Got the cutting from a friends large mother plant which still hasn’t bloomed for her. So interestingly weird!

I almost missed the first blooms on my Hoya Krinkle 8! The vine was tucked behind the plant. It has 3 peduncles on a fast growing vine. The plant grew a lot in the 6 weeks since I put it outside. The colors lightened due to sun stress.

First pubicalyx peduncles and blooms after having this plant for over two years. New peduncles seems to be growing all over. Proud plant parent here!
