Hello! I’m very new to hoyas and was wondering if anybody has tips! I was given a very long cutting from my friend’s dad and I cut it into many pieces! It’s starting to grow roots now! How long do I have to wait to transfer it to soil? Will it also grow new stem and leaves?? Does anyone know what kind this is?

I never thought I would see a day where I can say I have 4 hoyas blooming! My Hoya Krohniana Super Silver has 2 peduncles. I bought it 9 months ago. The blooms smell like honeysuckle and the bergamot (bee balm) scent in the vintage Posner’s blue hair grease!😃 If you know, you know!⭐️ My Hoya Heuschkeliana (yellow flowers) was bought in bloom. I’m happy it’s still vigorously blooming 5 weeks after it arrived! They smell like buttered popcorn up close. 🌼 My Hoya Lacunosa and Hoya Lacunosa Royal Flush are both blooming. There blooms are similar. Both arrived about 2 months ago. All of the hoyas get morning sun and bright afternoon shade. I moved 10 more plants to that location hoya ‘happy place!’’All are easy care plants.

Hoya Icensis is blooming in a not so ideal location. My living room. This Hoya will grow and bloom anywhere if given enough light. Environment: bird cage turned Hoya lounge in my living room. Light: grow light bulb 14 hours Humidity: average 50% Ambient Substrate: coco chips and perlite Water: when damp/dryish (you can’t really overwater coco chips) Fertilizer: every other watering or randomly.

So excited that my Hindu rope is blooming second year in a row in a new house and I see more baby flower 🌸 blooms coming! Smells like chocolate to me! Is there any risk that with too many blooms at a time that the plant will die? I love this plant so much!

When I got this little cutie the nursery warned me she would be a slow growing plant. Cut to 10 days later… 🎉 (How cute are those little leaves?! 🍃)

Can someone identify these Hoya? I thought both were Hoya Burtoniae but they look slightly different so I’m not sure. Both are fuzzy/velvety leafed, but one has much larger, elongated leaves.

I got my Hoya Parasitica Splash in November. I kept it in sphagnum moss in its original container because it didn’t have many roots. I thought it would be one of those plants that didn’t grow, but, didn’t die either. It recently showed new growth including more roots and a tiny new leaf! I plan to repot it into a chunky potting mix. I look forward to more of the very stiff leaves

Hoya Kerrii reverse var. typically has blooms ready to go as these ones die off. You can see the new ones peeking out.

I just found these dried out leaves while misting Timothy the Hindu. Anybody know why this might have happened? Help please!!!

Is that white stuff on that lowest leaf normal? Just want to make sure there’s not any disease or pests going on. It’s a Hoya kentiana, in case that makes a difference. Thanks!

Just wanted to share a pic of my friend’s legacy Hoya. Her grandmother got the mother plant in 1965. My friend took a clipping when she went off to college (late ‘80s) and here it is today..

Im thinking this is a Krohniana or Lacunosa. Can anyone confirm or tell me I’m completely in left field? 🤣

Got this Hoya Compacta 3 years ago and it was a small 3 leaf cutting. Grows incredibly slow and finally bloomed for me.
