Hi Hoya Friends!
I bought this baby a year ago and it was growing the shorter leaves (named Hoya Lacunosa Moonlight) and it started sprouting these leaves that were 2x as long. Now Iâm worried because there is some discoloration and the leaves are a little wrinkly. My garden room is anywhere from 60-70% humidity and I know wrinkly leaves can mean not enough water or too much water but I was hoping to get your insight before I make a mistake? Help! I donât want to lose my baby!

I donât buy too many large established Hoya as I prefer to start a plant myself from an unrooted cutting but my friend was moving and downsizing because of that and I could not pass up this beautiful Hoya AH556 seeds 002 she had. Just so incredibly lush.

Started a blog with a focus on growing Hoya. Check it out if you are interested.

My crimson Queen is very sick. Donât know what is going on with her. I lost 3 other plants roughly the same time and I am not sure if it could be something in the water. I let my water sit for days before I use it and the water is very hard. Just wondering if the county put something in the water system. I did repot last week to have a look at the roots and they seem fine.

Any clue what this is? Iâve noticed my local nursery tends to put âassortedâ when they donât know what it is either. Iâve done my research and I canât seem to figure it out!!

Wanting to chop and prop my hoya carnosa. The leaves are spread out on this shoot (moved it into a south facing window from an east facing one a few months ago so hopefully will solve that problem).
Can I chop and prop now or should I wait until growing season?
Can I prop the sections that donât have mature leaves yet? How could I go about propping the âsticksâ? đ

Hoya Carnosa Suzy Q. It looks like a Krimson Queen with stiff narrow taco shell leaves. Very cute when the pink and white leaves emerge. đ

Loved watching this beauty grow a couple of new leaves. Hopefully many more to come :)

Some Hoya bloom whenever but Retusa faithfully blooms in the fall. Typically get a few blooms. This time there are at least a hundred in various stages of development.

I controlled the sprawl on this Hoya Nummularioides by wrapping it around a bamboo hoop trellis. The twig like vines are still flexible enough to curve. I wish I had trained it earlier. Iâm still happy the way it turned out. No peduncles were harmed in the process, surprisingly! It has a mild sweet scent that doesnât project too far from the plant. The leaves are firm with soft velvet feel like Baby Bunny Bellies Tradescantia. đžđžđž

Fighting the urge to snip this vine because I know leaves are coming

I love these round new leaves on my Hoya Heuschkeliana! I got it at n spring. This plant has continuously bloomed all spring and summer. Itâs the plain Jane Heuschkeliana, no variegation, no frills, no high price and maximum joy!đ„°
Butter/butterscotch scented. Not overpowering.

Does anyone know what this Hoya is? When I got it it was just labeled âHoya.â I donât think itâs a pubicalyx or carnosa because its leaves are so much thicker than my other Hoya plants. Itâs also got two little purple spots, but they might just be damage. If anyone has any ideas Iâd love to hear them!
Also, I got it almost 2 months ago and it hasnât pushed out any new leaves - is there something I can do to promote new growth?

My baby hoya kerrii grew a leaf and I'm so excited! This is my first time having a leaf, so I don't know much about them. First, it doesn't yet look like my main thick heart shaped leaf. How long does it take for a new leaf to resemble the other one? And any other tips about hoya kerii would be appreciated!đđ±

Help with ID? Got this as an unrooted cutting labeled Pottsii NOID (aka no identification). Now that I have managed to flower it I am still stumped. I found one on Google labeled Parasitica purple that looks identical but I donât believe that is a proper name. Any suggestions?

I think I found a krimson princess on clearance at Loweâs? The tag says carnosa compacta but thatâs def not right lol. I always forget if the princess has the variegation on the inner or outer đ„Ž
