Harvesting Radishes
Radishes grow quickly and are best harvested promptly for a crisp texture and mild flavor. Waiting too long can cause them to become woody or overly spicy.

Care instructions
Harvest at the right size.
Radishes are ready to harvest when the root reaches about 2–4 cm in diameter, depending on the variety. The top of the root is usually visible at the soil surface.Don’t wait too long.
Overgrown radishes can become tough, hollow, or very spicy. Check plants frequently, especially since they mature quickly.Harvest during cooler hours.
Pick radishes early in the morning or evening to keep them crisp and juicy.Loosen soil if needed.
If the soil is compacted, gently loosen around the root with your fingers or a small tool before pulling.Pull gently by the tops.
Hold the leaves close to the root and pull straight up. Avoid twisting, which can damage the root.Remove tops after harvesting.
Cut off the greens shortly after harvest to prevent moisture loss. Radish greens are edible and can be used separately.Store properly after harvesting.
Rinse off excess soil and store radishes in the refrigerator. Use within a few days for best texture and flavor.
