Your guide to Planta

Planta supports both indoor and outdoor plants, whether potted or in the ground. It’s designed to help you care for all your green spaces.

Add plants

Scan your plant or use the search field to find the plant you have and add it. You can either create a new site or add it to an existing site.

Manage tasks in your to-do list

• Complete tasks by marking them as completed, or click the snooze button to snooze or skip tasks.

• Complete tasks early by clicking the plus button in the bottom right corner.

• Use the sorting button to sort and filter your to-do list to your preference.

Find added plants, sites, and photos

Click the second tab in the bottom menu to view your plants, sites, and photos. To make adjustments, click on the plant or site and enter the settings icon in the top right corner.

How the schedule works

Planta examines various parameters per account, location, site, and plant to establish a care schedule for your plants.

Adjusted schedule

By observing your watering and fertilizing actions, the schedule can adapt and refine its scheduling algorithms over time.

• If the soil is wet, you can snooze the task and indicate that the soil is still wet. The schedule will learn from this adjustment.

• If the soil is dry and you add an extra watering, indicating that the soil is still dry, the schedule will also learn from this adjustment.

• If a task has been repeatedly snoozed and we suspect something might be wrong, you will receive a notification.

You can access these adjusted schedules via Settings > Plant Care and choose to reset back to Planta’s default schedule if needed.
