Me trying to create humidity for my basil:

Meyer lemon tree question: why are some lemons small and turning yellow before fully growing and others large and green? Tree recently fertilized. Not sure if tree struggling with direct sunlight (lots of heat here). Do I need to put in partial shade? Or does the tree look ok and I’m overthinking it? Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

My first female cucumber flower has popped up! Such a big win for me😭 I really didn’t expect much for my first year for gardening!

My cheddar cauliflower plant had a golf ball size yellow cauliflower growing….and then all these leaves started sprouting from it! Is it a goner? 🥲

So excited about 15 tomatoes growing all at various stages(sizes)

Hey yall, I got this basil plant from Trader Joe’s. It’s very root bound because it looks like a circle of soil was cut from a big sheet of growing basil plants lol. It’s starting to droop but I’m nervous of over watering. I watered yesterday and she’s already a little feumpy. How can I make sure she stays healthy, and does she need to be split up into smaller groups and repot? Best way to water this?

Just for all of the tomato lovers out there, here are a few tips to keep your tomatoes healthy: 1. Put tums pills near the roots of the plant. This will help with rot on the bottom of the fruit, allowing you to enjoy them more! 2.Plant marigolds near or next to the tomatoes; this will help keep away rodents and pests! Good luck to you all!

Hey all! I am living in the city, and we have a small backyard that is blocked by buildings so it really only gets bright noon sun in the summer, maybe 3-4 hours worth but that's just a guess. Any advice on what fruits and or veggies might grow well??? I've not gardened like this before and I really want to give it a try. I would do container gardening and there's really not a limit on how big I can go with the containers. Any advice and ideas are super appreciated thanks!

What are these black and white “beads” on the back on my tomato plant leaves?

Any ideas on what to do with small amounts of homegrown strawberries? My strawberry plant is producing beautiful berries, but it’s a young plant so the yield is quite low. Don’t wanna waste them though! Suggestions for how to use them?

Help! Can someone help me identify what is wrong with my tomato plant? Something has been slowly spreading, fruit seems fine so far though. I've been trying to pick off affected leaves and stems in case it's fungal or something.

First time growing peppers or really anything for that matter I can’t be doing that bad!

I want to start my own little edible garden. But I’m not sure where to start. Should I make raised garden beds or use pots? Any other advice is appreciated. 🙂

Can anyone advise what I need to do to improve my key limes? I didn’t know it was a key lime bush until last summer when it produced a few limes. This summer it’s abundantly producing but the skin is too thick minimal juice. Thanks!
