Hi, I’m very new to ‘growing my own’ and two days ago I purchased a sizeable Cherry Tomato Tumbler plant from a garden centre. It was potted in a hanging basket. Later that day it looked a bit wilted and Planta said it was water-logged. I did as suggested and set it on some kitchen towel but it was looking worse the next day! Meta AI and Chat GPT said put it in a sink with water as it’s flowering and needs loads of water. It looks terrible. 😢 I personally think the pot may be too small as there appears to be five main stalks going into the soil. Has anyone any experience with this type of tomato that can advise me what to do? 🥴

Do y’all have any tips for me, because I just transplanted my avocado from water to dirt.

Is my summer squash ready to harvest? I’ve usually seen them get longer but this one keeps getting wider so I’m thinking maybe I’m good to harvest now? Finger as reference for size. It is firm. I wouldn’t say no give but not noticeable. Slight orange tinge to it? Not as bright yellow as baby squash

Hi, people! I have another pestering question about (baby) potatoe harvesting. Some potatoes have been dry and crispy for some time but others still look like they’re in their prime. How should I go about harvesting so it’s not too late for some (I’m worried solanine production) but not too early for others?

I have my first raised garden bed for herbs, and I’m wondering for Plantas care schedule, do you categorize a raised bed as a pot or in the ground? Those are the only two options, since there’s no option for raised bed? Looks like watering schedule is different for each. Thanks!!

Everyone meet Blue! I bought two of dormant bushes. One is for me and one is for my nana for mother’s day! Wish me luck on growing mine! I’m sure my nana’s will thrive. Should I harvest these potatoes? Hi, people! I planted these potatoes around Feb 15 and they’re looking pretty interesting. Some sources I’ve come across say to harvest 7-8 weeks after planting and others say wait until the foliage is completely brown and dry. Anything helps. Thank you!

All right, I started an indoor herb garden and it has been flourishing. Until my coriander became invested with aphids. Don’t ask me how I got aphids indoors I have no idea I have treated with neem oil, 3% hydrogen peroxide, and diatomaceous earth topically. But instead of curbing the infestation, they multiplied and also infested my oregano in the same pot. The coriander I can replace easily because I germinated some about a month ago and it’s taken off beautifully, but my oregano is still too small to be repotted and I want to try and save it if I can I was thinking of giving a water bath to try and wash away the majority of the eggs and bugs and loosen the soil enough for me to pull both plants out and repot them with soil cut with diatomaceous earth but I worry that would be too much and the shock would kill both plants anyway Thoughts? Advice, please!

So excited to be starting my indoor veggie garden 😊 — the Arugula is already showing beautiful seedlings after just 4 days!! I’m using the Jiffy 12 Peat Pellet Seed Starting Greenhouse Kit that I got from Home Depot. How amazing is this!? 🌱
