Can someone tell me how to help my watermelons? I planted a smaller variety like icebox or sugar babies and they start to gro but then begin to turn black and fall off the plant after only getting about the size of a quarter anyone have any ideas? I also have beef steak tomatoes that keep rotting on the bottom of the fruit before even getting to their full size and turning. Does anyone have any advice for me on either? Iâve already lost our cucumber plants this year to powdery mildew Iâd hate to lose more plants!

Too heavy or Squirrels? I noticed my tomato plant was missing this morning, as I peered over the ledge I could see it laying on the ground 2 stories below. After looking around I also found the single tomato in the grass. Iâm curious if I couldâve avoided this with squirrel detergents or if my plant was too too heavy and blew over? -watered fully yesterday - less than 10 mph winds last night (havenât had a problem before) - my palm tree palm recent was dug thru by a squirrel 2 days ago on my patio Could I have avoided this? How so? can I save my plant?
MY MINT IS RANDOMLY DYING!! When I first planted it it was thriving and growing so fast. Then suddenly I noticed it started drooping and the leaves were folding over. Now all the leaves have browned or already fallen off. And the roots appear to be lifting out of the soil?? I planted it in a container on my balcony. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it? It looks burnt and there was a heat wave but the soil is wet bc we've had so much downpour the past few weeks before the heat wave. Thanks in advance!
I have my strawberry plants rooted, but I want to add more soil and not mess up the root system and as you know you canât cover the top of the root systems so how would I add soil underneath???
Before I start spraying this: does any one know how it affects the plants right off the back without me having to spray a small area and waiting? I have zucchini plants, strawberries, watermelons, broccoli and potato plants and bell pepper

I donât have much of a green thumb but have always grown herbs in pots. Iâve had basil plants as big as bushes in the past but ever since I moved to central California I havenât been able to get Basil to grow! I had it with other herbs in a sunny northeast facing window and it was dying so I moved it outside thinking sunlight was the issue. Now it looks like this! đ© any suggestions appreciated!!

What a summer. My corn experiment of 400 plants per 150sqft worked! They were jammed in and did just fine. Canât wait to see what I can push next year. Grow plants close! They seem to like each other! This is the 20th or so of these experiments Iâve ran. Tomatoes potatoes raspberry pumpkins strawberries corn sunflowersâŠ.They all loved each others company.
Hello, this is one of my first posts. Does anyone have recipes for a copious amount of figs? Our tree has produced its largest amount ever this year, with probably another 10 pounds worth on the tree still. This is around 8-10 pounds that we already have and we need to act fast since they will go bad within 1-3 days due to the ripeness. Edit: Not sure why the picture is cutting off⊠but you get the idea.
