My broccoli is forming. This was one of the first plants I bought a month ago when I started gardening. I’m so excited and proud.

    The bugs always eat mine, you must live in the West Coast cuz it's still serious winter out here LOL

      A few of mines have holes in them. They ate a few of my spinach plants as well. Once they started getting on my broccoli, I sprinkled them all with that white powder you see on Saturday. I’m hoping it helps before my entire bed gets eaten. I pulled a caterpillar of my collards today too.

    The bugs out here weren't even fazed by the diatomaceous Earth last year I'm going to have to go harder with something else this year I didn't want to spray neem oil on everything because it's toxic when wet and I just don't want very poison on everything plus we water a lot and I don't want that neem oil to get the wildlife either . I saw something about lots of bugs not liking cinnamon I think this year I might check out maybe essential oils somehow if I strategically play clove oil and cinnamon oil and different things throughout the yard around the garden things the bugs don't like maybe it will repel them IDK though good luck with your garden ✨❤️🥦🥦

      Thanks. I read about the cinnamon too, but I keep forget to try it as I have plenty cinnamon. I also have a peppermint plant in the bed. I’m going to try some pepper oil spray too. Good luck to you as well.
