I got a lemon tree a couple of years ago. In that two years the tree has flowered a few times. But my plant still hasn’t produced any lemons. What is going on with my plant? Why is it flowering but won’t it produce lemons? Any help or tips are appreciated:)
It looks like it might still be too immature? I'm not sure

As Katomarose said it could be immature. They usually need to be at least 3 years old to set fruit. But if it is being kept indoors it is also possible it just isn’t being pollinated. If there are no bees, butterflies or even a good strong breeze the pollen isn’t being spread to the flowers. Without that happening the plant won’t set fruit. When the plants starts to form flowers you should put it outside on a shaded patio if possible to allow pollinators access to it.
3개 좋아요 In the summer I keep it outside but it also flowered like crazy this winter and I tried to pollinate it myself but it still didn’t produce any fruit. It seems to flower and bloom within a few days then a couple of days later the flowers vanish…
좋아요 1개I fertilize mine lightly with every watering. I have 5 lemons this year. One last year. Best lemon I ever tasted. I worked hard for it 😂 yours does look smaller than mine was last year.
좋아요 1개 Mine is a bit bigger than the older pic… I really need to update it😅 I didn’t think about fertilizing more… I repotted it this spring and mixed in some fertilizer then… but that might have been the last time I’ve fertilized.
