Hey guys this is my first year gardening! My zucchini are now flowering but I have no idea if there’s something eating the leaves or what’s going on? I’ve checked for pests on all my plants and there’s no insect! Any ideas?

SunnyLooks like caterpillars or snails if there are silver trails. Caterpillars can eat at night when it’s cooler. Then, hide in the morning in a shady cool spot. Check the plant late evening or early morning.

I thought it was going to be snails but it ended up being earwigs. I found them eating my zucchini last night.

Looks very caterpillary. Likely culprits include cutworms, armyworms, and pickleworms (knowing what they look like can make them easier to find)

It ended up being earwigs! Do you have any tips on how to get rid of them?

From what I've read, attracting natural predators is the most effective way to control them, so make your yard friendly to birds and lizards. Other than that, earwigs like moisture and tight spaces, so try to remove any spots they'd like. There are also bait traps (soy sauce + cooking oil, or commercial traps that use spinosad) or trap plants (mustard) that can be used but they apparently have varying success rates
