My very first harvest of strawberries!!!! 🥳🍓🥳🍓🥳🍓🥳🍓 I grew them from seed and since it was late in the season when I started them it was suggested to pick off all the flowers to improve the size of the plants/harvest for next year. Looks like I forgot 2 tho!!! 😍😍😍😍 can’t wait to try them!

1 Like Thanks!! If you want to harvest berries the same year as you start the seeds, do them in Jan/feb. they are incredibly slow growers from seed. If you going to get crowns (or bare root I think they might be called) then you can start later. And once they’re fruiting they need lots of water!!!
