Accidentally grew some corn plants from bird seed lol this is my third that sprouted and has become the healthiest and largest of all of them. Anyone know if this could possibly produce actual corn??? Bed is not very deep. Maybe 8 inches deep and shared with multiple other flowers and a sweet potato vine.
Love a volunteer plant! If you do want it to produce corn you will have to manually fertilize it, I’d recommend looking up how!

So corn is one of those plants that need partners to produce corn. Unfortunately with only one plant I’ve never seen corn. I did this my first year planting without knowing either.
