Quick question from a 1st winter gardener: I attempted to grow a few things in Charlotte, NC over the winter that just did not sprout - celery, lettuce, onion, chives, and carrots (although I did get beautiful carrot tops). I have not pulled up any of it yet, and planned to try again in early Spring. Should I dig up what’s grown and start over? Or should I leave it while the weather warms up and see if I get more growth from what’s already planted??
Regarding Carrots. They do not do well when transplanted. Plan to keep them in whatever container you start them in. Good luck!’

Dario I did the same thing… started my garden after the summer but couldn’t wait until spring and planted a bunch of things way too early! A few of the seeds are sprouting now (celery, parsley, onions). I’m planting some new seeds but also leaving the other ones be to see what happens with them!
