First time Gardner question… how to know when to pick my tomatoes :)

    Tomatoes continue to ripen after being picked. I think they taste better vine ripened. Right before the last frost you can pick all of the green ones. Most will still ripen.

    Tomato in picture needs picked. It will continue to ripen. At the point this tomato’s is just taking energy from tomato’s trying to turn red. Red to bright orange will ripen after picked in a day or two and the green ones benefit getting more energy to turn red.
