First ever garden bed ( jalapeño, tomato, bell pepper). Bought everything/ didn’t grow from seeds. So nervous to try and keep these happy & healthy compared to succulents / cacti 🌵

    They’re looking awesome!!! You got this!!! Depending on the tomato breed you might want to stake/cage it soon so it can grow nice and strong.

      Oh nice!! Now would be a good time to stake it! Check which type (indeterminate/determinate) it is bc that will decide which type of stake/cage you need.

    Trying from seed this year for the first time…the first set died! My second set in the 72 cell tray is doing great with the heat mat!

      Congrats! I didn’t know a heat mat existed for seedlings. I have some cilantro I want to grow from seeds, I’ll look into it.

      I got mine at Walmart for $20(I wanted to start immediately), but they have them on Amazon and TEMU for cheaper! I’ve notice a massive increase in my plants taking with a heat mat, especially peppers! I couldn’t get my Cali Wonder 300 TMRs to even sprout the 1st time and so far 5/6 cells have taken! Same with Banana, Jalapeño, and habanero peppers! Tomatoes are thriving as well!
