Hey planties! I have this Little Lemon tree that started producing this Spring, the 2nd year I’ve had it. It had around 9 lemons to start out, but slowly they’ve fallen off, and now I’m down to 2. I’m not sure why they seem to be dying off? I also gave this plant some fertilizer last month.
Fruit trees take 3-5 years to be able to bear fruit. If you want to rush the process I’ve heard you can pinch off flowers so it will focus on growth instead of fruiting. In the past I would just wait for flowers and hold my breath for the day that one held on. I got many off my lemon tree when it was mature enough (hurricane ian killed her though)

It’s very possible that the fruit has been aborted because it wasn’t pollinated. This is pretty typical in lemons.

And check the Ph in the soil. Lemon trees require a delicate balance.
