    In my experience no, but the support u have currently is never a bad thing. They get big and peppers r heavy.

      Thanks. It seemed like it needed some support so I just grabbed a stick out of the yard until I could figure out what to do when it got a little bigger. 😂

      Oh its no problem. Ik some ppl use tomato cages (i should say it really depends if u want maximum amount of peppers you can, and it is a lot regardless), but a stake is plenty. The main issue i get is that it produces so many peppers that I have to give a big chunk away because I never know what to do with them.

    I would say some support because peppers can get quite heavy but the plants them selves are relatively small.
