Garden Update: 1. I got my first ripe tomato today! Two more tomatoes are on the way to be fully ripe too. 2. I was looking at my bell pepper and I noticed that one was red, but I only have green bell peppers. Does anyone know why this is happening? 3. I’ve been noticing that all of my strawberries when they are ripe or close to it, get this black stuff on it and become mushy and it looks like they basically disintegrate. I’m not sure why this is. Does anyone know why? My only guess is either pests or I’m leaving them on the plant too long when they ripen.

    Idk about the strawberry, it kinda looks like mold or something of the sort, but the pepper sounds normal. I have some green peppers that stay green, and then I also have yellow peppers but they just turn super red instead. I don’t think there is technically a difference between red green and yellow, it kind of depends on the plants genetics and the environment from what I’ve seen with mine. I even have some purple Thai chilis and they are only a brownish-purple for maybe a day during ripening and then they end up red like my red chili peppers

      Oh okay. I read about it on Google, but I wasn’t sure if it was true or not. That is interesting though.

      Yep, these are the “yellow” bell peppers off my plant. They’re in a dehydrator as we are gonna grind them in a mortar and pestle later
