AlokBlossom end rot. Plant can’t absorb calcium due to inconsistent watering. Try watering deeper and more consistent. Mulch your bed.

Should I be watering even after a big rain? Also, does hay count as mulch or do I need to find the real thing? I’m wondering what I need to search for in stores

plantgeekhard agree, blossom end rot. is this a ripe tomato? if so, they can be picked earlier to help prevent this.

Sadly I don’t think it was ripe yet. How can I prevent this and get it to its full potential?
