I accidentally left my sprinkler on from 2pm yesterday until now, will it ruin my vegetable garden? Is there anything I can do to prevent it from ruining it (other than not leave it on next time lol)? Thank you in advance! Edit: I live in Knoxville and it has been very rainy the past few weeks already!
Your garden would be in the same state if it rained all night. It should be fine if the soil has good drainage. It would be even better in a raised bed with good drainage. You may have to add more products like sharp sand, perlite and bark chips to increase drainage. Plants on mounds drain better than plants on flat ground where excess water flows.
