Couldn’t wait, had to pick the potatoes…. 4/5 plants gave me nearly 5KG of potatoes!!! 😍😍😍😍 not bad for a first timer growing in containers!

      Thank you!!! They’re all pretty small for the most part but got a few big-ish peanut looking ones! Can’t wait to eat them!

      These little “new potatoes” are the easiest to cook because you don’t need to peel them. Boil and serve. Boil and place on an olive coated sheet cake pan. Smash them flat. Add fresh herbs, melted butter and sea salt then bake until crispy outside, creamy inside. Tuck them next to roasted chicken, baked ham or roast beef. You can also slice, toss in vinegar, seas salt, fresh herbs and olive oil. Then bake until golden. 🤤😋

      🤤🤤🤤🤤 now I really can’t to eat them! Do you think I need to “cure” them like the internet suggests? We wanna store them for a while. (I still have a whole other plant to harvest!)

    They need to be cured one to two weeks unwashed. Lay them on a cloth or tarp in a cool dark place. 🪴🍀

      Awww dang I thought I could skip that step. I was excited to eat them! Guess the garage is about become a potatoe display! lol.
