Meyer lemon tree question: why are some lemons small and turning yellow before fully growing and others large and green? Tree recently fertilized. Not sure if tree struggling with direct sunlight (lots of heat here). Do I need to put in partial shade? Or does the tree look ok and I’m overthinking it? Any help is appreciated! Thanks.
How old is your tree? It’s likely that it’s still too young to bear fruit.
0개 좋아요Thinking 3-4 years old? (Just a guess). It looks to have good lemons on it elsewhere but some are super tiny and yellow. Wondering if it’s heat (90+ degrees here).
At that age you’ll hold onto some of the fruit. Shouldn’t be a heat problem. It knows best how many fruits it can handle and aborts what it can’t.
