Any suggestions about super hard compact dirt for this summer? Last year all my radishes and potatoes where tinie and I think think that’s why.

      Or the pitch fork method works too if you don’t have a tiller. Like others said, test your soil first then you’ll know if the Ph is off.

    have you tested the soil at all? ph may be off or you may have a nutrient deficiency. are your plants in the ground or in a garden bed or pot?

    The plants are in the ground and I haven’t tested, how would you do so?

      Do you have a college close with a Master Gardner extension program? I’d look that route up first. If not there are home kits.
