The little fruits are falling off of my Cara Cara orange. Is it too young (only abt 2ft) to bear fruit? Also having an issue with my fuyu persimmon blooming flowers, I can see the fruit, then they fall off the tree. Tree is abt 5-6ft but thin. Both are healthy
Fruit trees usually need to establish themselves for a few years before they will hold onto fruit. I know it’s always sad seeing those little ones fall off but don’t worry if it doesn’t happen right away.

You should cut off the flowers at this young age to promote growth of the tree. It needs to grow and strengthen in order to support fruit
